On Monday March 22nd, RCC voted down a grant application designed to support infrastructure expenditure on the SGB site. The Parish Council have long campaigned against the size of the development at SGB. Amongst other things a modern new town half as big again as Uppingham, would be a blot on Rutland's landscape.
